What would any brigade be without the children's ministry. The look in their eyes melts your heart. You want to take one or two of them home with you just to give them a chance to experience a better life.

But for most of them the better life is simply a digital photo they can look at,a pair of sunglasses

or a stuffed animal or pack of stickers

Our medical brigade at Templo Siloe (Shiloh Temple) came to a conclusion today. We celebrated two birthdays: our own dentist Kevin Wegrzyn and one of the Honduran dentists, Anna Martinez. We had birthday cake at the brigade site AND back at the Mission House.

We told you about the evangelized parrot in yesterday's post. Well Paco the parrot was back at the site today and shortly before we left Pastor Don had a chance to disciple him. He encouraged him to spend time repeating God's Word to replace some of the less desireable words he had picked up in his former life.

Tomorrow is a day at Rancho Ebenezer, which means 3 hours on the bus and three hours at the ranch. It will be a long day, but a great change of pace.

Keep praying and keep watching for new posts.

God bless you all for your interest in God's work here in Tegucigalpa!

Charlie and I are praying for you all. In church last Sunday our pastor talked about our call to serve our "neighbors" and I could not help but think of your faithfulness. We can't wait to hear about the trip in person when you return. Blessings! Kristine P.S. I'd like to give a shout out to Doc and Bear and my favorite harpist :)

Oh, that we North Americans would find joy in the simple things of life. :)

Oh for those of us who have experienced God's work in Honduras, that we remember to remain humble and grateful, seeking only to serve God not ourselves.

Oh, that your week in Honduras will be one of blessings and miracles.

Oh, that when you return home that you will allow God to use you too be blessings and miracles to those who need to know Jesus.

I continue to keep you before the Lord!

It's so fun to see the kids loving the stuffed animals! What a fun addition to the trip! I hope I can come again soon. Talk about putting things in perspective!

Dad, Mia now knows when she asks, "where's Papa?" that he's in Honduras! Not a typical 18 month old word, but she got it!

We love and miss you!

I read earlier about the warm hearts of several people whohad nothing. I have prayed for you and hope your work continues.

The weather has been fine here in Chicagoland--crisp and windy but sometimes sunny.

It said you needed encouragdment. I hope nothing is wrong. Your previous daily messages looked as if you wre making much progress.

the dogs had difficulty adjusting to daylight savings time. I had
to ease them back to the normal morning walk and the normal dinner time.
